Construction Safety Officer – Strong Concrete Experience Urgent!

Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Safety Officer with a strong background in concrete work (5+ years). You’ll be responsible for promoting and enforcing safety standards while supporting crews working in concrete-focused environments.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce site safety procedures and regulations.

• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.

• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.

• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices, especially around concrete pouring and finishing.

• Support incident investigations and reporting.

• Work closely with supervisors to maintain a safe, efficient job site.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, with concrete-specific knowledge.

• Valid CSO certification

• Solid understanding of OH&S regulations and concrete site hazards.

• Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing site conditions
